Home-made hot dogs with vegetables
Delicious home-made hot dogs are a brilliant snack for the whole family. Not only are they tasty, but they are also a clever way to sneak in a portion of the vitamins contained in vegetables. A delight for both mums and kids!



Ingredients
- 1 packaging ZM Pekpol Ostrołęka Balbinki wieners
- 4 wheat hot dog buns
- additives to hot dogs, e.g., tomato, cucumber, lettuce, cabbage, corn, sprouts, paprika, fried onion, sauces: ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/2 small red lettuce head
- 1/2 small white lettuce head
- 2 carrots
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley leaves
- 2 tablespoons apple vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 sweet potatoes
- 100 g flour
- oil
Preparation
Prepare coleslaw salad: finely shred white and red cabbage. Grate the carrots on a large-mesh grater. Combine the vegetables with the parsley, mustard, and mayonnaise. Season with vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
Peel the sweet potatoes, then cut them into fries. Heat the oil to 180°C in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot. In a bowl, mix the sweet potatoes with the flour. Fry in batches until golden brown and drain on kitchen towel.
Heat the wieners in water. Cut the buns open, then fill with wieners and your favourite toppings. Serve hot dogs with sweet potatoes and coleslaw salad.
