Crunchy toast is a must. They can be prepared in a variety of ways and with most types of bread. If you are going for a fit version, try rye bread and make fat-free croutons in the toaster or oven.
Ingredients
- 1 packaging vegetable ZM Pekpol Ostrołęka vegetable and meat pepper paste
- 1 baguette
- rapeseed oil
- 1 clove garlic
- favourite toppings: olives, rocket, marinated pepperoni, egg, paprika, tomatoes, cheese, basil, Kurpie Specialities ham, lettuce
Preparation
Cut the baguette. Heat up grill pan. Put baguette slices and drizzle them with oil. Grill until they are crisp and nicely browned.
Remove the croutons from the pan and rub in the crushed garlic. Then brush them with a thick layer of paste. Add your favourite toppings: olives, rocket, marinated pepperoni, egg, paprika, tomatoes, cheese, basil, Kurpie Specialities ham, or lettuce.
